Promax is an effective and safe NSAID product exerting strong analgesic and antipyretic effect.

Pharmaceutical form: coated tablets, naproxen sodium 275/550 mg which is equivalent to naproxen 250/500 mg.

Promax exerts apparent analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect by inhibiting COX and blocking the production of the prostaglandins from arachidonic acid.

Posology and method of administration:
Adults: As a rule, adults shall take 500-1000 mg daily in two doses. In case of acute pain syndrome the dose can be increased to 1500 mg daily (for not longer than 2 weeks).

- Pain syndrome in stomatology: 500 mg 2 times a day until relief of symptoms.
- Dysmenorrhoea: 1st dose – 500 mg, then 250 mg 3 times a day during 3 days.
- Articular syndrome in case of acute exacerbation of gout: 1st dose – 750 mg, then 250 mg 3 times a day until relief of symptoms.

Children: children over 1 year old shall take 10-20 mg/kg/day in two doses.
