On September 27, 2008, the research and
practical regional workshop “The Concept
of the State Program “Healthy Child” for 2008-2017 years and Contemporary Problems of Pediatrics in the Region. The
Discussion by the Pediatric Society of Zaporozhye city” was held in
Zaporozhye city. The most burning issues
for pediatrics were discussed at this workshop: staff deficit, statistics of
the pediatric service, the most burning issues of diagnostics and treatment of
the most widespread diseases.
The workshop was opened by the report of the Chairman
of the Pediatrics Department ¹ 2 of the A.A. Bogomolets
Kyiv National
Medical University,
professor Volosovets Aleksandr Petrovitch “The
Concept of the State Program “Healthy Child” for 2008-2017 years. The Respiratory Pathology as a Problem ¹ 1 in the Outpatient and
Inpatient Pediatrics of Zaporozhye city”.
Then the professor of the same department,
professor Krivopustov Sergey Petrovitch delivered the program lecture “Respiratory Infections in Children (Acute Rhinitis,
Tonsillopharyngitis, Acute Sinusitis, Acute Otitis Media, Bronchitis) - the Doctor’s Approach at the Outpatient and
Inpatient Stages”, in which Lexin and Cefutil were determined as the
preparations of choice of the mentioned infections.
In the report of professor Volosovets Aleksandr
Petrovitch “Pneumonia in Children: Etiology,
Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis, Treatment, Step-by-step
Therapy, Rescue Emergency Care, Prophylaxis, Rehabilitation” the
preparations Cefutil and Cefodox were
recommended as a casual treatment of pneumonia in children.
And the master class of professor Krivopustov
Sergey Petrovitch “Antimicrobial Therapy
of Respiratory Infections in Children – Problems, Which We Meet in Everyday Practice”
became the perfect resume of the previous reports.
The chief pediatric infectiologist of the MoH
of Ukraine professor Kramarev Sergey Aleksandrovitch called the oral
third-generation cephalosporin Cefix as a preparation of the choice for the
treatment of acute enteric infections in children in his satellite report “Modern Approach to the Antibacterial Therapy
of Enteric Infections in Children”.
Trifed expectorant and Aerofillin were called
as the preparations for nosotropic therapy of respiratory infections in
children in the report of professor Yulish Yevgeny Isaakovitch “Intracellular Causative Agents in the
Genesis of Respiratory Infections in Children: the Decision of the Problem of
Diagnostics, Treatment and Prophylaxis”.
And professor Nagornaya Natalya Vladimirovna
recommended Neurovitan for its administration by children from ecologically unhealthy
regions (the report “Ecology and Pathology of Respiratory Apparatus in Children:
Medical Social Aspects, Practical Ways of Solving Therapeutic and Practical Tasks”).
