On September 18-20-th, 2008 the Third Renal Eastern Europe Nephrology Academy REENA 2008 was held at the Kyiv Teacher’s House, which gathered about 130 nephrologists from the different regions of Ukraine. On the first work day of the Academy, on September 18, the vice-president of the Ukrainian Nephrologists Association professor Ivanov Dmitry Dmitriyevitch gave a master class on the theme “Urinary Incontinence and Urinary Infections”. Such a diverse combination of nosologies was chosen by Dmitry Dmitryievitch not accidentally, as the mentioned states are in the direct cause-effect relationship.

Professor Ivanov called Menerin as a preparation for nosotropic therapy of urinary incontinence and Dmitry Dmitriyevitch called Cefix as a preparation of choice for causal treatment of urinary infections of different types.
