The congress is held by the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and is maybe one of the most important events designed for the pediatric community of our country.

The importance of this event, its mission and, in general, the pediatric service in Ukraine was emphasized by the First Lady of Ukraine, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Charitable Foundation “Ukraine 3000” , Kateryna Yushchenko.

This year Megacom Ltd. has taken part in the work of this congress for the first time. More than 10 years our company represents in Ukraine a broad range of pharmaceutical products widely used in the pediatric practice. It can be said without exaggeration that all the products presented at our company’s exposition stand aroused keen interest among the participants of the congress.

The company’s personnel heard a lot of honourable mentions about the products that are well known to the pediatricians of Ukraine such as a complex vitamin B product – Neurovitan®, spasmolytic Riabal®, cephalosporin antibiotics Lexin® and Cefutil, iron preparation Megaferin (effervescent tablets), complex products Trifed® syrup and expectorant.

Special interest of the specialists was aroused by a new, recently appeared in Ukraine form of Riabal® – Riabal® syrup, designed for the treatment of colic in newborns and other spastic states in children’s gastroenterology.

But most of the congress participants’ questions were related to the two 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotics for oral administration: Cefix and Cefodox appeared on the market of Ukraine only this autumn. These products appear to be a safe and reliable alternative to 3rd generation injectable cephalosporins.
