In December 2005 Megacom started the dynamic promotion of a unique for the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine product – Riabal syrup.

Riabal is a selective antispasmodic with antisecretory effect, acting upon the smooth muscles of the abdomen and small pelvis organs. The problem of relieving the pain syndrome, associated with the spasm and hyperactivity of gastrointestinal tract in children, remains unsettled up to present day.

Available antispasmodic products are developed for use in adults only. Until now in the wide pediatric practice the special forms of antispasmodic products for children were absent.

Riabal is the only one antispasmodic product in Ukraine in the form of syrup, specially developed for the use in children of the earliest age. One of the most common pathology of infancy, the pathogenesis of which is based on spastic states and hyperactivity of GI tract, is the intestinal colic, manifested with agitation and weeping. The therapy of intestinal colic focuses on the normalization of intestinal motility and spasmolysis. Therefore the application of Riabal is a pathogenetically-proven treatment.
