In December 2005 Megacom began to market new dosage forms of Zomax (azithromycine dihydrate), manufactured by Al Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Jordan. Zomax in the forms of tablets 500 mg №2 and №3 entered the market.

Zomax capsules 250 №6 is well-known to the professionals of public health service of Ukraine. Zomax is widely used in the therapy of urogenital chlamydial infection, infections of respiratory tract and ENT-organs.

It is worth to note that the uniqueness of Zomax in the form of tablets 500 mg №2 is in the absence of analogous potency of the product in Ukraine. Such dosage form enables to use the product in the pulse therapy in case of urogenital clamidiosis (1 – 7 – 14 day), and for the single use in the therapy of acute clamidiosis.
