The history of company
“Megacom Ltd” dates back to 1996 when the company has started its
activity in the pharmaceutical market as the exclusive distributor of
company "Hikma" (Jordan) in Ukraine. Our main functions covered selection and
registration of pharmaceuticals, recruiting and training of medical
representatives, promotion, marketing and distribution of
pharmaceutical products. To implement the above functions we
established two branches within our company: a department of medical
representatives and a wholesale company. Both branches gained financial
and organizational autonomy: separate balances and functional
structures. These principles were applied to further projects such as
establishment of chain of retail pharmacies, supplies of pharmaceutical
companies with plastic packaging, marketing of sanitary-hygienic
products.
At present our company focuses
its activity on launching, promotion and distribution of modern methods
and aids in the field of medicine, pharmacy and hygiene. On the basis
of exclusive contracts we import into Ukraine the products of our
partners – manufacturers of medicinal products, sanitary-hygienic
products and parapharmaceuticals - "Hikma Pharmaceuticals" (Jordan),
"Pharma International" (Jordan), "ÀÂÑ" (Italy), Cefak (Germany). The
representatives and offices of our company are located in 23 largest
cities of Ukraine (Kiev, Donetsk, Lugansk, Simferopol, Sevastopol,
Mariupol, Poltava, Kharkov, Lvov, Uzhgorod, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhie,
Kherson, Krivoy Rog). Our customers are physicians, pharmaceutists,
pharmacies, hospitals and
wholesale companies throughout Ukraine.
To implement the above tasks
the functional structure of our company includes department of medical
representatives, department of pharmaceutical representatives and
department of representatives in the market of sanitary and
disinfection products.
In the beginning of 2005 we
limited our wholesaling to the range of products of our exclusive
contracts and passed the supply of the pharmacies that we used to
supply to our distributors. This gave us the possibility to focus our
activity on promotion of products and delegate the distribution
function to our partners – leading wholesale companies of Ukraine.
From the beginning of our
activity we paid much attention to management information systems,
accounting and planning. Our IT-department developed integrated
software solutions for managing of wholesale, service and retail
companies, as well as for budgeting.
Our objectives are to increase
the number of products and contracts that we launch in Ukraine, to
extend the sphere of our influence both geographically and in the range
of products for any application, to cooperate with wide circles of
specialists and to increase the level of benefit for population of
Ukraine and level of own efficacy. |
