The delegation of Megacom visited CPhI Worldwide international pharmaceutical exhibition, which was held on October 22-24 in Frankfurt. The following manufacturers of various pharmaceutical products from across the globe were represented at the exhibition.
In the course of the exhibition the management of Megacom carried out meetings with the representatives of the partner companies – Hikma and ABC.
Several meetings were carried with the drug manufacturers, which are interested in the partnership with Megacom and in the entry into the Ukrainian market.

According to the data of Medical Data Management the medicinal product of Megacom company Cefodox ranks 13th in respect to a total number of remembrances about promotions and prescriptions among health care professionals from 16 monitored medical specialties (for the period from June till August, 2013).

0.7% of a total number of remembrances about promotions among health care professionals and 0.6% of remembrances about prescriptions in Ukraine belong to Cefodox.

On 3-4 October 2013 in Alushta city, the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea, was held the All-Ukrainian research and practice conference with international participation and the plenum of the Association of Infectiologists of Ukraine on the topic “Virus Diseases. HIV-infection/ AIDS”.

Megacom company became one of the partners of this event.

The participants’ focus was maintained on such actual to date diseases as HIV, VH and other virus infections. That is why the report of professor Gennady Aleksandrovich Lezhenko “The Rational Therapy of Bacterial Complications after Virus Respiratory Infections” was especially interesting and caused a keen discussion. In his report, the speaker drew attention of the audience to the fact that the management of virus respiratory infections with bacterial complications is impossible without prescribing antibiotics. Among antibiotics, Cefodox has one of the best efficacy – safety ratio.

In the report “Antibiotic Therapy of Acute Enteric Infections in Children” professor Lezhenko satisfyingly demonstrated that the administration of particular antibiotics is most justified in invasive bacterial diarrhea. Today Cefix is popular for the treatment of such medical conditions.
